The five days of pool play are in the book, and now eight teams remain in the 15, 16, and 17 year old divisions. Saturday will feature quarterfinal and semifinal action with the championship games coming on Sunday.

If Thursday offered a marquee matchup of Cooper Flagg versus Cameron Boozer as the best two players in the 2025 class, Friday gave the world a battle of the top top studs in 2026. A.J. Dybantsa and Expressions Elite 17U took on Tyran Stokes and Vegas Elite. Stokes had 16 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds in the nationally televised game. Expressions led most of the game, but couldn't hold on. He still had 20 points in the losing effort.

Boozer didn't play Friday. but Cooper Flagg was still front and center, and maybe even more today. He played in front of the Kentucky coaching staff, as well as just about every other one in the country. Lebron James also took in the game was well. Flagg had 23 points, 12 rebounds, 7 blocked shots, and 3 assists in a hard fought 63-60 win over the PSA Cardinals.

On the 17U side, the PSA Cardinals advanced to the weekend with a 4-1 record. They clinched a playoff berth with a 65-57 win over Drive Nation. Boogie Fland had 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. PSA plays Stokes and Vegas Elite Saturday at noon in the quarters.

Team Final and MOKAN Elite also advanced, and will play Saturday at noon as well. Team Final got there by an eyelash thanks to a 69-68 victory against JL3 in a must-win situation. Ahmad Nowell had 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Jalil Bethea had 16 points and 6 rebounds. Jasper Johnson had 15 points and 4 rebounds as MOKAN defeated Team Durant 76-65.

Here are some numbers from other players who wrapped up their week with pool play. Darius Acuff had 5 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists as The Family lost 86-70 to Paul George Elite. Meleek Thomas had 8 points and 5 boards in a 72-67 win by NH Lightning over UPLAY Canada. Tre Johnson had 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in a Houston Hoops victory against Team Melo. Caleb Wilson had 12 points and 8 rebounds.

The New Jersey Scholars took on the Florida Rebels in a matchup that could very well include two future Wildcats: Billy Richmond and Karter Knox. Richmond had 22 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in the 67-64 win. Knox had 8 points and 2 rebounds.

The 16U playoffs will also be huge. Maine United and Cooper Flagg play NH Lightning Saturday morning at 10:30 in one quarterfinal. The Boozers and Nightrydas Elite also play at 10:30 versus the Florida Rebels.
