They get better every game. They're fast...snipers everywhere...can't guard them. definitely a contender. Gotta improve defense. Struggling against teams like st joe's is a problem. rebounding, rim protection, etc. Hopefully we get to see at least Bradshaw soon.

Yes but because they wisely slowed it down and fed their big. When they made the mistake of trying to play, we jumped out to a nice lead. Of course didn't help cal left the money line up on the bench too long but the slow down was the key

While I agree with most, we need as many bigs healthy as we can get. Still love to also have Ugo back, too. He’s the only “big bodied” big on the roster that can also block shots. Need them to be able to matchup.

Look at most of the top teams. Most of them have real good to elite bigs: Purdue, KU, UConn, Arizona, duke, etc. Make no mistake, we need our big men back badly. We must have a counter.

Sheppard didn't throw half court passes every time UK ran the fast break, but he did it often enough to let opposing teams know it's possible. This team runs and goes -- those words that Cal has been mocked for over the years.

I hope one of the bigs shows up soon and Burks finds his way into the rotation. So that nobody averages more than 28-30 minutes. Fresh legs + no injuries and the end of the season will take care of itself.

Everyone knows that opponents make adjustments. They can make concerted efforts to prevent run-outs by rebounding fewer people and others quickly sprinting back to the lane on change of possession. In those situations, if we continue to push it up court, we will have threes in the secondary break, but probably not be able to go straight to the rim. Again, it boils down to be able to hit shots !!
