Nike Peach Jam over; 2023, 2024, 2025 targets recruiting followup

Wasn’t Camden the team that got the benefit of a call reversal on a last second shot? The shot that was so obviously out of the shooters hand before the horn went off? If so they should have done the right thing and forfeited the game. If not them then congrats on the title.

Exciting ending. Great Crossing wins the 11th region and Malachi Moreno is headed to the Sweet 16.

In what was a fantastic game last night--wanted to point out a guy to watch going into AAU season for '25 class. Nolan Groves of Orono HS. In what is the strongest class (in terms of talented teams) in MN this year, Groves came into the season as a relative unknown-he has announced himself and then some. Had games of 58, 59, 54, 48, etc...and last night did this to win Section Championship game against #1 seed on their homecourt and had 45/18 rebs.

Groves is a 6'4 wing player. Big Ten starting to notice as is the Big 12 and some Big East teams. Keep an eye on him as Spring AAU approaches. He's overshadowed his more highly regarded teammate Brady Wooley a 6'9 Jr.

Herro like?
Don't know if he's that good yet--want to see him against top competition in AAU but he's gotten a ton of attention with the monster season he's had. His teammate was considered a top JR in the state for '25 class and is a good player at 6'8--but this guy is easily the best player on their team. They've been to 3 straight state Tournaments now too. So he's been part of winning but the shooting is insane. He's been lighting it up this year.

Maybe a MinnePerry

Shooter.
The plan is for McNeeley to focus on the Chipotle Nationals as he looks to lead Montverde to a high school national championship in April and then potentially visit schools afterward. So even if Kentucky makes a serious push, we’re still weeks away from things getting kicked into the next gear.”
