After watching a very large portion of the NFL Draft I was really surprised how little talent, across the board that the PFF and others think of our program. IMO it just adds to the tremendous job of coaching we've seen the last few years with lesser talents than most all teams we compete against. Most of the teams we compete against had multiple players taken throughout the draft, teams we've beaten the last few years.
Our recruiting has improved more than most of us ever imagined but we're still far behind everyone other than Vandy and Mizzo in the East and all but maybe Arkansas in the West. Our coaches make up the difference in development of players and scheming. The defensive side is much closer to the top but hopefully the offense is catching up, especially with Coen back in the fold.
