Will be a few changes before Sunday but I think things are solidifying.

East

1 UConn

2 North Carolina

3 Baylor

4 Alabama

South

1 Houston

2 Marquette

3 Kentucky

4 Illinois

Midwest

1 Purdue

2 Iowa St

3 Duke

4 Auburn

West

1 Arizona

2 Tennessee

3 Creighton

4 Kansas

That would be such a gift for Duke and Auburn, who IMO are already lucky to be those seeds after having a pretty weak schedule.

And then on top of that, Purdue who is always going to be a little suspect, and ISU who needs their home court to win games.

Can someone explain the seeding as far as geographical preference? I thought UT would get 2nd pick on 2 line as I can't see them below ISU or Marquette.

I can't see them saying let's go way out west. Switching UT and Arizona fixes this issue though.

If Duke is a 3 I would love for Tennessee to be the 2 in their bracket.
They knocked em last year and roughed up bitch boy powski.
Think Duke would really struggle with this Tennessee team.

Honestly, I don’t see Arizona getting that last 1 seed. Well, they very well might. However, I don’t think they necessarily should. They got whipped by a bad USC team just the other night.

I want duke to be our 2 seed. Or, if we get a 2, them be our 3 seed. In any event, I wanna beat the piss out of them!

Why is no one talking about us in the Midwest? Likely to be the top 3 seed and Detroit is significantly closer than the other locations

I'm not sure the committee will agree on UK being top 3. I agree that if we are top 3 Detroit makes most sense.

That said, Detroit is also closes for 2 seed UT. That goes back to my question earlier n thread. If UT is a 2 wouldn't they want Detroit?

That dooms our chances.

This looks good and makes a lot of sense, so the ncaa will never consider it.

Arizona isn't getting a 1 seed. That will go to either UNC or UT. Another point is that the committee favors geography. So, if UT doesn't get the 1 seed in the west, the committee would like to keep them closer to home as the top ranked 2. Hence, they would likely go to Detroit (mileage) or to Dallas (natural region).

That then sets the wheels in motion for where UK goes. If UT is a 1 seed In the west, then UK isn't going west.

I put winner of regionals out further but the app puts them in close

UK is in very good shape for a 2 seed if we get to the final SECT game on Sunday. Looks like we are moving way up in the AP poll. Seth Davis moved UK from #16 to #5 on his ballot. Even Bozich moved us to #6.
