Taylor did not learn he was offered by Kentucky until he visited over the weekend. It was an official visit. He told me recently that he was planning to sign his LOI on Monday, but when I spoke to Taylor on Monday he said the LOI had not arrived yet for him to sign. I have no reason to believe there's any significant hold up but it's worth reporting that the LOI has not been signed yet.
The 6-foot-9, 265-pound prospect from Georgia also told me that the coaches are definitely leaving open the possibility that he could be converted to an offensive tackle, although they're still saying he will start out at defensive end and that's the plan.
Regie Meant hosted Taylor over the weekend and he also spent a lot of time with Bud Dupree, in addition to Jimmy Brumbaugh and Mark Stoops.
