I know we’re trying to turn the page from the Liam Coen era, but I thought it might be worth posting since he does talk about UK. It’s interesting that he talks about how he had autonomy at Kentucky (he has mentioned it before, as has Stoops). Not excusing how the off-season went, but Stoops is kind of in a no-win situation with some fans. If/when the offense does well, he doesn’t get credit. But he gets the blame when the offense sputters. It doesn’t make sense. As if a guy that didn’t have control of the offense would come back to the same head coach for more of the same (when he reportedly turned down other P5 options).
