I see the 4 most crucial games of the season as the USCjr, MissSt, Mizzou, and UL games. Here are there season win totals
UL - 7.5 juiced to the under
Mizzou - 7.5
MissSt - 7 juiced to the under
USCjr - 7
Point being all of these four teams are extremely beatable. Oddsmakers don't see much difference between them and us. 7-8 wins is a real possibility for our cats.
With our new top-notch facilities, and a 7-8 win season I can't imagine the recruiting class Stoops would be able to bring in.

I like the 6 but I don't like the odds. I would shop around a little you might get -110 or even money somewhere else.
Others I like at first blush, Florida under 7.5, MSU under 7 and aTm over 7.5

I hear ya -120 stinks, but is the early release vig everywhere.. When it gets closer to the season it will drop to the normal -110. At that point the win total may have been pushed to a different number though.
Our first opponent is set at eight. I guess they are projected to have a pretty decent team. If they get to eight then one of their four losses will come in week one to UK.
