Interesting video: AAU hurting US hoops?

I was recommended a video on AAU’s effect on the NBA. A similar subject was discussed a bit on here on Rafters, the video reminded me of that thread. So what do y’all think is AAU hurting American hoops? He mentions the growing amount of all-star Euro players. What he didn’t mention is the same thing is also happening college basketball. You only have to look at Gonzaga, who has had Euro players for decades. Looks like they were ahead of the curve.

I thought it was the transfer portal or the NIL. The only thing that is hurting the NBA is that they are drafting players (one-and-done) based on potential instead of past production/performance.
 
I didn’t watch the video.. but European basketball translates to the league more so than what is taught in the US.. the 2 and 3 man game is exactly what the league is built on. ISO, athleticism is where US players excel…skills and IQ are lacking as a result.
