We are 1 made 3 from Livingston and 1 made 3 from Fredrick from having 5 guys making 40%+ of their 3's (Wallace 45.6, Wheeler 41.7, Reeves 40.3, Livingston 39.1, Fredrick 38.8). Actually 6 if you count Theiro (made 2 of 4) in limited attempts.

We only have 4 guys making > 2/3 of their FTs (Fredrick 85.7, Livingston 85.0, Reeves 75.0, Theiro 71.4). So we need at least 2 of those on the floor in final minute trying to hold a lead.

Last year Oscar had more rebounds than the next 5 guys (Brooks, Tyty, Toppin, Wheeler, Grady) COMBINED. This year, he "only" has more than the next 2 guys (Toppin & Wallace) combined.

Wheeler's assist to TO ratio is now at 2.97 for the season. Since 2000, that has only been bested by Ulis (3.6 twice), and Dom. Hawkins (3.6).

Wallace STeals is at 2.29/gm, since 2000 only bested by Rondo (2.6) and C.Hawkins (2.3).
Wallace Steals to TO ratio is 1.33, since 2000 only bested by Dom.Hawkins (1.67) and WCS (1.42).

Onyenso averages 1.07 BLK/gm, despite playing only 6.6mpg. Multiply that by 5, and you get 5.35 blocks in 33 minutes. A.Davis averaged 4.68 blocks in 32mpg.

Oscar also has a Steal to TO ratio over 1.0 (1.11). We've had 11 be over 1.0 since 2000, he and Wallace will push that to 13.

Theiro has the same # of FT attempts (14) as Fredrick, even though the minutes played difference is 63 to 238. Theiro's rate of getting to the FT line is tops on the team (1 every 4.5min), and only bested since 2000 by Cousins, Randle, and D.Johnson.

We are averaging 8.0 made 3's/gm. That is the most in the 2000's for a UK team. The prior high was 7.6 by Tubby's 2006 team, and Cal's high is 7.4 by the 2011 team.
We are attempting 20.5 3's/gm, the highest since Tubbys 2006 team.
We are making 39.0% of our 3's, the best since the 2011 team made 39.7%.
The % of our FGA that are 3FGA is 33.4%, is the highest since Tubby's last team (2007).

Our 12.5 FTM is the lowest since Tubby's 2006 team.
The 66.5% FT% is the lowest since 2013 (64.2%).

Our 16.1 APG ties with last year as the highest in the 2000's.

Our 7.3 Steals is tied with 2010 as the highest since Calipari has been here.

The 4.4 BLK/gm we average is the 2nd lowest (last year was the lowest) since the 2006 team.

Thank you for the interesting statistical insight. I know there was much work involved. Much appreciated.

Awesome work collecting those stats—thanks!

Cal seems to generally only play Onyenso in stretches where the competition is weaker/smaller/slower enough that Onyenso doesn’t feel threatened, and when he’s played him outside those circumstances we’ve generally gotten results that we wouldn’t want to multiply by 5. So personally I’d be really cautious about relying on these numbers from him this year.

But I only bring that up as the one notable exception so I can say that otherwise these numbers are encouraging!

Which is why Adou and Ugo need more clock to develop for March when we need them the most.
