With these 5 players we have a lot of game experience

-Andrew Carr 117 games with 112 as a starter. He has played 3521 total minutes
-Lamont Butler 131 games with 102 as a starter. He has played 3062 total minutes
-Amari Williams 105 games with 79 as a starter. He has played 2192 total minutes
-Otega Oweh 60 games with 37 as a starter. He has played 1167 total minutes
-Brandon Garrison 32 games as a Frosh with 29 game started. He has played a total of 727 minutes.

In total, from just these 5 players, that is 445 total games played with 362 games started and a grand total of 10669 minutes played.

This is the conferences in which they played.

3 top 6 conference players. 2 from the #1 rated Big 12(Oweh and Garrison) and 1 from the 4th rated ACC(Carr)
1 from the 7th rated Mountain West(Lamont Butler) and 1 from the 18th rated CAA(Amari Williams)

We will also add a player with some outside of basketball life experience which should bring a lot of maturity from COLLIN CHANDLER who spent 2 years away while on a Mormon mission. While he is a freshmen we also have TRAVIS PERRY who played a lot of HS basketball and was always the focal point of the scouting report and yet he still scored over 5000 points.

But wait, there's more!

J/K. I agree with your premise.

I heard on a podcast last night that Butler has 17 out of 20 something post season WINS under his belt; impressive.

That’s cool and all but their palm sizes and standing reaches should have been included in this. How are we supposed to know how the NBA value our guys if we don’t have important information about them???

Not even one little shuttle time or wing span!!!

Just think about this: we have a wing that could guard a bully in the post better than
any of our centers from last year...and he's not one of our TWO conference defensive
players of the year.

This should make it that we don't have a repeat of the South Carolina game last year.

Regardless of what this team looks like it would still be a tough place to get a win against that particular South Carolina team. The SEC is going to be tough and road wins will be really hard to get. When you construct a roster solely using the transfer portal you don't know how it's going to turn out.

I agree. I was thinking more of how they manhandled our younger players,

We get 2 guards and a PF or 3 guards and Pope will wait to see who pulls out of the draft before making to many more decisions. Said he wants to keep options open.

How is that different from Cal's way. St least these guys have proven college game experience.

I can’t wait to see experience run the hell over youth next season. Loving the makeup of this team. That Duke game is going to be interesting af. Arkansas… forget about it. CANNOT WAIT.

You can now, with the addition of Koby Brea and Kerr Kriisa, add 99 games, 93 starts, and 3016 minutes of game action for Kriisa and 113 games played, 21 starts, and 2698 minutes played for Brea.

That's 657 games played, 476 games started, and 16383 minutes of college basketball.

Butler has the most valuable experience having led a team on a deep run in March.

Dude hit a game winner in the Final Four and played for a title, yet everyone is labeling him a scrub and want him on the bench.

They say his stats aren’t pretty enough.

There’s more to basketball than stats.

Besides, the only stat that really matters to BBN is wins, right?

FWIW I started a Official roster thread and had Mods sticky it.
