Let me start by saying I’m not overly familiar with Greg Swaim but from what I’ve gathered about him he’s a big time sports talk show host that is very connected within college sports/football.
He predicted that Oklahoma and Texas would be going to the SEC before just about anyone else. Now he’s predicting that FSU and Clemson will announce their intent to leave the ACC for the SEC this year. From a TV ratings perspective this seems like the ideal situation if we are taking two ACC programs.
He says that the Big Ten is targeting UNC and Virginia. That the Big Ten is prioritizing an AAU accreditation for any school that joins the conference even though they are shooting that down publicly. Looking back over old posts he thinks UL and the Big 12 have been in talks last year. What do we think about all of this?
FSU & Clemson to the SEC in ‘24?
