Just going to give a couple thoughts as we prepare for this huge recruiting weekend.
To be honest, I didn't want Cal gone. I loved the elite talent rolling through Lexington. However it did become exhausting losing early and then refocusing on the recruits come in the next year. I hated our highest moments being in the summer.
I am so excited about the future! I love Mark Pope because his passion for the University of Kentucky. I think he will do great! I don't know what our roster will look like at BBM. I'm anxious but I know he will get a great group that will rep for this University.
I was thinking about early matchups and I am looking forward to having a coach that out coaches others with more talent. When Cal was here, I expected to win every game because we always had the most talent, then go to bed mad because it some how slipped away. We are going to win games, a lot of them, and I can't wait until Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats bring home number 9.
