Between NIL, the Transfer Portal, Handlers, Agents and ‘Entitled’ kids the entire College Sports landscape like this Country in many aspects is in dire straits at best and gone to Hell in a handbasket at worst.
The so-called Games are about ‘Me’, ‘I’ and ‘They’. It’s no longer about ‘We’, ‘Us’ or Team. The sad part this could’ve been avoided if the NCAA wasn’t as greedy as the Coaches and now the Kids.
A small number of Kids ever get the opportunity to play College Sports and not pay a penny for their education. Not to mention all the assistance they get with their Special Tutoring and in most cases special exemptions.
Had the NCAA instead of keeping Billions for themselves and get paid exorbitant salaries, they could’ve given these Kids a stipend of $5K a month for each Month of participation in their Sport to include all their time and effort up to 12-Months a year if required. All Athletes no matter the sport!
The Games as we know them are Broken, the ‘Genie’ is out of the Bottle and the Games as we know them are on the brink of Ruin!
