Cats vs Vols Saturday....

UK goes with Andrew Nelson. Cats strike for a run in the 1st, Vols tie it in the 2nd. Cats bunch 4 straight hits, but only get 1 run due to some bad base running, and a DP. Lead 2-1 going to the 4th inning.

Cats add 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th, back to back Homers from Ka'ai Tom and Javon Shelby. UK leads 5-1 going to the 6th inning. Cats have out hit UT 11 to 2. Zach Logue still in pitching for UK.

Whew, it shouldn't have gotten as close as it did, but Cats hang on to win 5-3 and sweep the series. Vols made it interesting the last inning, scored 2 runs, and had the go ahead run at the plate. However S Jack induced a fly ball to right to end the game. Cats pick up 3 much needed wins this weekend and are now 22-16 overall and 8-9 in the SEC.
