Best Case scenario for everyone

I’m hoping he is removed as the head coach like most fans. I’d be ok with him moving into his Ambassador position which would let him save a little pride and work on NBA stuff in the background, set up NIL etc. obviously influencing the team or what happens would be solely for the new coach. It might save the University some money, save Cal some pride and possibly allow the fan base as a whole to compromise and meet in the middle. Just a thought.

Cal is like Bermuda grass, he will take over everything unless rooted out completely.

The best scenario is them negotiating a mutual retirement or at least stepping down. He saves some face by not being fired and UK saves some money. But that's really up to Cal and I don't trust he will do it.
