Arkansas drops 106 on UNCW

Imagine a basketbal game where there are 196 points scored and it was more boring than a Virginia basketball game. They did more standing around after the whistle was blown than they moved around playing the rest of the game.

Officiating in college basketball is so dreadful.

Especially with the non-conference basically coming to an end. Sure there are some possible bad losses for top teams in every conference, but ones that are of UNCW level bad are few and far between.
Yep. Power conference teams losing to mid majors is coming to an end and conference play is about to start. That loss really stings. Our guys totally fell asleep in that game.

UNCW is ranked in the top 30% of all basketball teams meaning 70% of teams are ranked lower than them. How hard is it for fans to understand that? Sure it was a bad loss but they aren't a sub 200 or sub 300 ranked team. It's that simple. Stop beating a dead horse. We've had way way worse losses in the past.

We lost at home to a MAC level school by 8 at Rupp. Stop trying to defend it. Stop polishing the turd. Just accept it and move on like the rest of us.

They are ranked 109 out of 362 teams. So again, it's not the doom and gloom people want to make it out to be. It's just the facts, should we have loss? Absolutely not, but we did. Georgia, Arkansas and Mizzou all ranked within 10 spots of UNCW in the NET. It doesn't effect us anymore than losing to any of those 3 would.

I moved on right after it happened. It's the posters who make these threads and the people like you who respond that the loss will haunt us all season who haven't moved on.

Yes it is, so many of them call horrible fouls, then call make up fouls when they realize how bad it was. Then they wanna be on camera so they T somebody up. The best is letting one team clothesline people on defense and then call the other for a hand check 40 feet away from the goal.

It's a terrible loss, whether you want to accept it or not. Especially if they don't win their conference. You can lose games like that on the road. You don't lose them at home. Not at Kentucky.

You're clearly the one not "moving on". It was a while ago and we've quite nicely rebounded. You're in this thread to whine about a loss that is only as terrible as you want it to be.

So, move on like the rest of us.

@Mike-D Is like the guy who says he is over his ex girlfriend but brings her up every conversation. Nothing more to see here in this post.

No one argues it wasn't a bad loss. It's simply not the type of loss that will hurt us moving forward if we keep playing like we have been. It's a non issue. The facts are the facts , a loss even at home to a team ranked 109 isn't the anchor loss. The loss to Evansville was an anchor loss, this one isn't. No matter how the negative nancies want to spin it.
