I think so, and I think that’s a damn good team under the circumstances. Anyone sad facing this is living in a false reality.
And, importantly, not EVERY player on the roster will be an NBA prospect. It's ok to have solid college players, especially on the bench! Just want guys who appreciate the opportunity, take pride in the jersey, and are capable when called upon.

What exactly is the issue with adding this guy to our current roster? I am seeing this as only a positive thing.

He was a pf in the worst conference in the nation . He’s not a SEC pf. Way undersized . No other D1 team wants him that’s the facts not a opinion
He’s a perfect backup option. You’re not going to find many players with his numbers willing to not start.

Achor and Toppin are almost certainly better players, but the question there is how they'd work with Carr.
I don't see every one of your posts, but why are you hell bent on being so negative all the time?? Pope doesn't get to grab a shopping cart and pick whomever he wants off a shelf. The guy is constructing what seems to be a well balanced team, in one month, without having hardly any of these players knowing anything about him. By all accounts Pope is doing a great job, considering the circumstances. And, giving BBN what it's wanted for years.

He's not a starter, but it's no different than adding a juco or a 3* freshmen like Jordan Burks.

Almonor averaged 16 points a game and made 93 threes last season at a 40% rate. Pope is building a team and this guy is a welcome addition

He put up 20 points against Illinois last season. There's that. To me, that says he is capable to come off the bench and not feel like we have Mark Coury against SEC players.
