Middle of the pack SEC team. I’m still just bewildered how Cal took this team and has absolutely ruined it because he had no clue how to juggle or not juggle the lineups when the 3 bigs came back. But many saw it coming.

Bottom half of the league has helped us get those 5 wins. At this point we are what we are. Middle of the pack and on par with A&M and Florida. Won't be able to compete with Bama, Auburn, UT or SC who are clearly the best 4 teams in the SEC

One positive is that I think 3 of the 4 top teams will pick up a loss this week and we probably won't.

Bama plays at Auburn, Auburn is at Florida, and Tennessee is at A&M.

I asked this after the UF game and I'll ask it here:

Is bringing in the 5 Star recruits STILL a path to success at the highest level? We have seen UK get beaten by teams that have ZERO future NBA players the past few seasons. So, does Cal still feel like these young players are MORE talented than their older counterparts in the SEC?????

I sure don't!!! We haven't won the SEC or the SEC Tournament for years. Let that sink in. It used to be the UKIT!!!!

Id like to win it more than once since 2017.

Yeah, times are a changing but we should be able to win it more than once in 7 years (2020).

I've said cal won't win another sec regular season, sec tournament or make another final four or win a 2nd title and stand by it. This board lit me up when I said it in October. I was hoping to be wrong but this season is another epic fail.

I posted this as I wanted fans to see really where we have fallen. Calipari needs to retire as the game has passed him by . When you repeatedly get beat on your home floor and let teams score a 100 points on you then you as a coach are the problem.

There's a glaring pattern that has shaped up in the past 10 years at our school.

One and Done.

It sure does not seem like a "school is first priority" more so an idea of "Preserving the Draft Stock of Potential NBA draft picks"

Certainly looks like UK will be playing on Thursday in the SECT barring a major run to close out the season. No way I’m spending my money to go to Nashville this year.

I want to believe that there's going to be some changes in the standings for the sec.

Right now does not mean UK will be tied for 4th place before the sec tourney.

I mean, if Cal wants to make changes he is more than welcome to. We need something to change to start winning games.

It’s going to be really tough for us to break into the top 4 at this point. Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee won’t go undefeated from here on out because they have to play each other, but they are all top 10 teams in the country by most metrics, so I wouldn’t count on any of them going on a prolonged losing streak either. That leaves South Carolina as the team we could theoretically catch, but we’re two games behind them and lost the only scheduled head to head game already. I’m just not seeing it at this point, which is a major disappointment any way you slice it.
