We all heard how Calipari was a step ahead of the rest of college basketball with the one & done players. Well it now looks like he's behind the rest of the college basketball where all the best teams do not depend on freshman.

We lost to Oakland. And nothing about the roster make up of teams that advanced 4 more rounds than us explains that.

If Cal starts more than one freshmen and gives any other freshmen significant playing time to the exclusion of seniors he will be giving the middle finger to the fan base, major donors, MB, Eli Capiluto , and saying he concedes he will not even try to win a NCAA championship. That we are an NBA development program. That’s our priority and live with it.

My guess is if he does this it has the potential of getting very ugly at Rupp ,kill financial contributions and give fodder for the national media to make us and UK look very bad .

The only salvation is for MB to give him a direct order not to start more than one freshman and fire him for cause and disobeying his direct order if he does so .
