Your best five-man team in your lifetime

Ryan Harrow
Jared Polson
Mashburn
Issac Humphires
Anthony Davis

don’t ask me why I just know my hoops.
:)

In all of these discussions, Mash consistently is listed. Tells you how special of a player he was.

6'8", can handle the ball like pg, shoot like a sg including from 3 (recall the Wake Forest game of 93), rebound, create his own shot. He may be the most complete player I've seen since watching in '78.

Offense : (Recent)
Wall - Fox 1A. -
Murray - Monk 1A. (Meeks real close)
MKG (More defensive minded but on this team, his passing, rebounding, and run outs galore) - Darius Miller 1A..
Randle - Bam 1A.
Davis - Towns 1A.

(no repeats)
Defense : (recent)
Fox - Ulis 1A.
SGA - Herro 1A. (very underrated, Cal list him as best defender at 2G)
Trey Lyles - Keldon Johnson 1A.
T. Jones - PJ Washington 1A.
WCS - Nerlens Noel 1A.

Old school
Offense:
Kyle Macy - Dirk Minniefield 1A.
Tony Delk - Kevin Grevey 1A. (Rex, DA, Bogans, Farmer, all good players)
Kenny Walker - Antoine Walker 1A. (Givens, Mercer, also great players.)
Melvin Turpin -
Sam Bowie

Defense :
Rondo - Cliff Hawkins 1A.
Dale Brown - Bogans 1A.
Winston Bennett -
Jamaal Magloire - Chuck Hayes 1A.
Rick Robey - (Bowie, Turpin all would be here in not in offense)

What y’all think about

Murray
Booker
Davis
Towns
Cousins

starting 3 dominate bigs that can extend range as well. We will own the paint & some good all around guards that can also shoot from the outside.
just experimenting lol

PG-Wall
SG-Goose
SF-Mash
PF-Issel
C-Davis

I would take that 5 against ANY other 5 out there.

I'll go w/:
1. Tyler Ulis
2. Tony Delk
3. Goose Givens
4. Jamaal Mashburn
5. Dan Issel (this pick is cheating a little...during my lifetime, but before I actually began following the Cats)

or:
1. John Wall
2. Jamal Murray
3. Mashburn
4. Kenny Walker
5. Anthony Davis
