If you read the message boards, the base already 100% believes they are being framed...many have given the most insane reasons on all of this, even blaming Mitch! It's the most unbelievably laughable reaction I've ever seen...UNC fans have nothing on these clowns.
They better focus on convincing the NCAA.

Jones just made a great point. Powell used the girls' stripper names in the book, and these women used their real names in the lawsuit. So, they were anonymous to everyone but those who know their stripper names until now. Also, he said they are joining the lawsuit by the students who claim this book damages them by tarnishing their degree. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. This has Tommy Turtleneck and the Red and Black mafia written all over it.

How many girls did Powell have in her stables? I'm guessing there were others that are not part of this group, and these girls may not have hooked up. But that doesn't mean others didn't. Powell's own daughter says she and Harrell went horizontal.
The article I read today mentioned that the girls got money from the recruits and players, but not McGee or Powell.
So I guess they think they aren't prostitutes if their pimp isn't paying them.
This story does nothing to help UL, and if anything helps Powell a bit from a legal standpoint.

This. You have to be able to distinguish between the lying hookers and the trustworthy hookers. If you need help just ask a Louisville fan, they seem to be able to tell the difference easily.

If you notice, the girls don't deny being at the parties or stripping or having sex. They deny being pad for it. This is worse for UL imo.
The students and strippers are so stupid when they think suing Powell for damaging their degrees and their names is beneficial to them. They are suing the wrong defendant and should be suing the UL Athletic Department. The UL Athletic Department brought in the strippers and threw the parties Powell only reported what went on.
Which is impossible to prove because according to Powell, the money was exchanged between the player and the girl, not her. I'm sure they informed Powell, but she couldn't really prove it. If the reports about one or more players confirming are true, it would be interesting to know if they were with one of these girls. If not and no other players admit it, then there it's just a she said, she said thing. The real question is why are they joining the lawsuit by the students claiming this damaged the reputation of a UL degree. Don't see how these girls have any reason to be included in that suit.
Go Kennesaw, Utah Valley, St Francis, Missouri-KC, Samford, Hartford, and the rest of the opponents on that dynamite schedule the Crows play. After seeing your exhibition games, you may only win 50% of even this weak schedule. As for our wishful thinking and speculation, my wishful thinking is that you go to the NIT, get put on probation, your President, AD, and Coach all lose their jobs, and all of you fans go into hiding.
