So WCS did not play the last 15 minutes (last 5 of regulation, and 10 minutes of OT), and we still won this somehow?

I thought we were almost toast when he went out. He is so key to our D. Then Towns fouled out...and their guy starting taking it to us inside. Then Harrison fouls out....oh my.

Credit to our remaining players. Only these refs could take a 9 man rotation and cut it to 6 (with the 6th man being Lee).

We won and nobody absolutely nobody played great or even good.

Aaron couldn't bail us out with 2 game winners. 0-2.

Andrew couldn't bail us out with drives to the basket after the ankle went weak.

Booker missed a big 3.

Terrible turnovers and calls.

Lyles missed free throws in regulation.

Unreal how we pulled this out. We can't play worse can we? If we do we will take an L for sure.

The positive from all this is that we are getting crunch time experience for our freshmen that you can't get in practice.

I concur. I'm still amazed we won. We have to get back to our strength and get it inside, pound the rock. Our bigs have to show up.

I think you guys forget that we were a better and more complete team without WCS last season. Of course, we don't have Poythress now. Almost apples and oranges, but I think objective UK fans will tell you they like Dakari's game better in terms of basketball IQ and skill. Now we have Towns and Lyles to throw into the fire, and WCS, at least to me, is an afterthought.

Played with our 2 best bigs & AH on the bench along with a fired up TA&M & hostile enviornment & still won. This is what great teams do. Give them credit!!

Are you serious Clark?

I'll go ahead and say it Dakari is a black hole once he touches the ball. He needs to get the ball pass it out then have the ball passed back to him. instead he tries to back down 3 defenders and gets blocked.

We gave up 35 points in the last 35 minutes. That's how we won. Decent defense and some lucky breaks (FT's, missed open looks). Defense wins championships.

Wow. WCS is the best big UK has IMO.

Let's hope that was a joke.
