Whats With Josh Jackson...

I know theres been speculation about reasons why Cal isnt recruiting him, but im just curious... if he waits until the spring to sign what are the odds we try and get involved late? Does he have baggage or is the interest just not there? anyone actually know? is this a maker situation where Cal said 'if you want to be recruited, let me know?' i know the word is mich st but one would think he would listen if Cal came to talk.

Im more than glad with Monk, but getting both... one can dream.

Cal hasn't spent any time at all on the kid and there is a good reason for it but we might never know it . Could just be if he decides to attend college ( many think he won't ) he wouldn't have any interest in UK anyway .IN fact I have never watched a single second of this kid play b/c I knew we never looked at him and I could care less about a HS kid if we aren't interested.

I've spoken to the kid. Very nice and hardworking player. Dude is a real baller and there are no red flags with him. His mother seems to have huge control over his recruitment. When I spoke to him, he did mention that Kentucky had shown some interest but the vibe that I got was that he's just not interested in coming here. Doesn't mean he can't handle the pressure or he has something against Cal, he just has better relationships with other coaches, and thats perfectly fine. We can't land everybody. If he goes to college, I believe he will end up at Michigan State.

Too bad about his Mom but yeah that is what I thought - just not interested in UK . Man if Mich St got him they would have to be favorites to win along with us and Duke.

He is exactly the size forward we need and combine that with his skills and we would be set.

Maybe he isn't in to being a team player, he could be the type that wants to take all of the shots. I don't really see any other reason to not be interested in Kentucky.

I could be wrong though, maybe he just doesn't like the color blue?
