If his jersey doesn't get retired then that's a complete mockery of our University as he, even though was only here one season. Is the greatest Kentucky Wildcat to ever don the blue and white for what he did during his time here. Also believe Darius Miller, Doron Lamb and Terrance Jones are pretty deserving as well. I don't think his NBA career should have any baring on whether he gets his jersey retired or not. If he never played a game in the NBA, he'd still be greatest wildcat to don the Blue and White. That's all that matters.
