what probation means!!

ul fans have been coming here and telling me in person that they are gonna get off with only probation. probation can be as little as limiting contact with recruits during certain times of the year all the way up to the death penalty... yes card fans, the death penalty is the extreme of probation.

probation is not just a word that goes next to your teams name for a year or two that doesn't mean or do anything. it is an albatross to an athletics program. UK went on probation for less than what ul is accused of and it sucked for us and we were just "on probation".

ul was on probation twice in the 90's. you card fans remember the 90's don't you? remember those runs in march? those great players in big games making spectacular plays? yeah, me neither.... because probation ruined all the work denny had done and led to him being shuffled out rather unceremoniously.

card fans are right that they are gonna go on probation. they are wrong that probation is a guaranteed walk on the beach. hell card fans, if you have anything working against you how do expect to beat UK while cal is still here? let me guess... the ncaa will put US on probation because cal cheats and vacate our wins.... but probation for ul is...... nothing. LOL

it would get deleted and i'd get banned in .0002 seconds if i posted it there. they will have little trolls see it and run back to the nest to drop this nugget or some form of it to the flock and then the gears may finally start to work.... or not... hell it is actually hilarious that they are laughing at us because "you guys are gonna feel stupid when all we get is probation".

I honestly think too many of our fans spend way too much time worrying about what goes on at UL. I obviously enjoy them being in trouble, but am irritated by UK fans that spend time discussing it, and I especially get irritated with cute names for our rivals like "Loserville" or "UNCheat". I really think this is stupid and childish, but I am old and contrary.

I agree with that. And I don't care about UL. The Cards will take a big hit over the prostitute scandal, but Pitino's program has been in decline since Russ Smith left. And remember, Smith was a client.

Some UK fans say UL fans obsess with UK. I think there's a fair amount of obsession with them on the part of some. I'm like the poster above, I get a kick out of what's going on I admit that, but I don't really look for a daily update on it especially now that the season has started. I'll wait until the NCAA does or doesn't do whatever it's going to. In the meantime I sure hope to see our guys play a more solid game tonight. Not that there weren't things to like about last night's game, but there were some things not to like to. I don't think Cal was pleased with much.

then why do you bother coming here? discussing rivals is one of the main things fans (short for fanatics) do. it's great fun to rag on gooeyvill and the turdheels, gayhawks, gaytors etc. i especially get irritated with sage condescending posters like you.

Even without their Ho Scandal their reality is they will never be more then a middle of the pact ACC team or worse. They should be happy they have the crap you just can't make up going on to distract them from their 10+ loss upcoming seasons.
