What does your name on here mean?

Mine is complicated I live in the 606 area code and uk fan was already taken at the time so I chose Kentucky shortened to kyfan606.

OT but that was one of the best things Governor Paul Patton did when he gave us the UKY (859) area code!!! :D:D:D

Mine is obvious. I would have changed it years ago but they don't let you. I had a second account, Furd Turgason, but couldn't remember that password so came back to this one.
Yoshukai is the style of Karate I took for 5 years . In Japanese it means " strive for excellence " . I thought that was fitting for UK basketball.

I'm from, and live, in Kentucky.

I tried to use kyfan but it was taken.

I'm a man but thought Kyman sounded stupid so I went with boy.

1998 was our most recent title at the time and I liked that team.

Not much thought put into it.

Rode LINE Skis for almost a decade now, although running with a pair of 4FRNT skis for the 2016 season, so the name doesn't really fit anymore I guess. 14 is for MKG, my favorite UK player of all time. I greatly admire his work ethic and feel like his "team above all" type mentality is similar to my own personality.

Hoped my son would grow to be a uk player in any sport. Stopped growing at 5' 9". Anywho, I've had this handle since the mid 90s. Son is 21 now.

Nickname we called my late Grandpa. He was a huge UK fan and passed his love for the big blue to me. Would always discuss the games with him. Would often call him right after the game. i had read this board for 10 years or more and finally decided to join the discussion.

UKrazycat is a nickname given to me by an old Swahili chieftain while getting my degree at UNC. I will never forget my time there. Best three days and $20 bucks I ever spent.

P.S.- In swahili UKrazycat means "water buffalo dung". I added the 2 on the end because I didn't want to rank myself #1 at the beginning.

My nickname is Spud, hence my last name is Webb. Most friends in college didn't know my real name.
INTHEHOUSE I guess is from when people used to say that when they saw me. I remember Arsenio saying it a lot.

Interesting topic. Good read.

Big Blue UK...a simpleton at heart. Never stray far from being plain and simple. What you see is what you get except I'm about 40 pounds lighter now from when I joined this site.

I never had a gland problem, or a thyroid problem, just ate three times as much as I should have and quit it.

test....well I called and they told me my name was changed, but it's not.

This is the riggamarole I went through last time, and why I'm still named after our coach in 2003.

So, I'm guessing they call you Alexanderalopeciousabercrombie. That's long for Mud, or so I've been told.

My name is pretty simple. Grover is a nickname that I got stuck with over 25 years ago. Pretty much everyone but my parents call me by that name. 420 is pretty self explanatory. I use this username for everything I've ever signed up for on the internet.

I used the name Blue_Floyd for a while because I made a sig with John Wall busting through a brick wall. (Pink Floyd reference)

I don't get it. I changed mine back to jedwar about a month ago. Was quick and easy.

I finally created a username after many years of reading during basketball season last year. I got tired of every commentator talking about the "blueprint" for beating UK (which I knew to be not getting a shot off in 3 consecutive possessions and getting shock clock violations in the process, and refusing to get the ball to the #1 draft pick, but I never told anyone!). I also got tired of not having a voice among the crazy posters on here, since my logic defies...logic. So with my superior knowledge I self-proclaim to be 'TheBigBluePrint.' And I would like to retract all the illogical posts I have made in my short time here as only emotional stirrings at in inopportune time.

HiCATFan

Is there a place in Oahu where the islanders watch UK games. I'm in Oahu once a month for about 6 days at a time. I need to see some games with like minded individuals.

I run the chess club in Lexington and at UK.
It has worked as a username since online gaming came into existence. My name is not Lex, but most of my online friends think it is.
