It is very simple... Mohammed built his cult through war with pagan arabs; he essentially taught that it was ok for them to lie in their war for the arabian peninsula because it allowed them to live to fight another day.
This is in stark and obvious contrast with the actions of the first christians and Jesus who taught that those who lived by sword would die by it and to render unto Ceaser what was due to him.
