Duke comes into Rupp next year for the sec/ACC challenge? Since it’s 3 more years before we meet again I feel like that’s something they might put on the schedule. That could have potential of being one of the top 5 biggest games in rupp. Duke has never played at rupp correct? Against Ky atleast

Scheyer would never do it. They skeered.

This would not be one of the top five games in Rupp. There have been huge games in Rupp over the years. HUGE!

But this would certainly be big. JMO

I 100% thought UK would’ve ended up at duke to start off the SEC-ACC challenge. I’m shocked our first two opponents in it have been Miami and Clemson.

I’d love to see duke in Rupp someday, it would be stupid to not set it up.

I believe that’s just a matter of opinion. A hated rival such as duke coming into rupp for the first time would have to rank very high up on the list
Duke has played in Rupp before but it was long time ago. Cats beat em good in 1969.

They like to spread out the best teams to get viewers, but yes that would be awesome
I disagree with that. I think they like to pair them fairly evenly. So if we are expected to be a top 4 SEC team, we will likely play a top 4 ACC team.

I think it will be Duke, and will be a home and home, similar to when we played Kansas in the Big 12 challenge.

They played a ncaa game in 1980 in rupp gminski was the center. Duke won 55 to 54 mideast region . I was there hard loss to take . They had a big time player on that team Vince Taylor from Lexington played at tates creek .

Zero. Duke will never play in Rupp as long as the Champions Classic remains. They won't intentionally schedule the same OOC opponents multiple times in a season. Now, if the Champions Classic goes away, then there's a 1000% chance that Duke-UK will play in an SEC/ACC challenge
We don't play Duke again the 27-28 season. We played Kansas pretty much every year in the big 12 SEC challenge that we didn't already play them in the CC.

We could play Duke @ Rupp next year followed by @ Duke the following year. Then we would be on schedule to meet them again the next year in the champions classic. I think both Duke and UK fans would love this.

I forget that it rotates. So as long as we play either Kansas or Mich St, I assume they'll schedule Duke for an ACC/SEC challenge at some point

I think it’s possible now that Pope has us heading in the right direction. We had slipped so much under Cal that we were not getting paired up against the Premier ACC teams.

I would love a home and home series vs Duke and or UNC and or Kansas.
I remember back in the day Tubby said that coach K proposed a 2 game series to him and CBS with one game being played in Cameron and the next year in the Meadowlands. What an arrogant Ahole .

Someone needs to make this happen
