What exactly are impermissible benefits these days? We got guys getting millions in NIL, whole teams riding in brand new trucks, did he get some extra cheese on his burger or something?
Presumably if the money is coming straight from the University instead of being funneled through NIL sources.
Basically the the only way you get in trouble for paying players nowadays is if you’re blatantly stupid about how you do it.
So, if that's the case....why is only Kiirsa in trouble and not Arizona as well?

Oscar did most of his stuff in the Bahamas where the student-visa stuff didn’t matter. He was allowed to do very little stuff here because it couldn’t be considered actual work.

Leave it to Arizona to find a way. And to somehow not be in any trouble themselves. They’re as protected as UNC.
Arizona technically has nothing to do with him getting NIL. NIL is seperate. This is all on Kerr.
They seem very good at technically not doing the thing that the current moments investigation consists of.

Technically but it’s up to the ncaa, state and the player to police it. Since Arizona can’t be involved directly. The player or sponsor doesn’t have to report earnings etc. so no proof the staff or administrators at Arizona knew anything. Really WVU is getting punished by just being collateral damage. Really is BS that a student on a visa can’t earn money.
