They have to be very bad to beat us. Even when they are just bad, they seem to have our number
It literally takes the worst team in their school’s history against a well above average team for us (2017) or them just quitting (2011) for a victory. It’s a fcking joke.

Great game and I know the frustration. Same with Vols and Florida. Some games just get lost with the helmet.

Didn't they lose to Purdue in the Sweet 16? Tennessee is great in the regular season and is trash in the NCAA tournament. They choke almost as hard as UK football does against Florida/Tennessee.
Are you though? You lose your best two Wrs, who make up almost all your offense, and lose your best OL. You lose your best two linebackers that make up most your defense. Yes, you're young, but your best players are gone after this year and so far there haven't been clear people who are stepping up to take their place.
#5 that had the amazing body control catch to score the go ahead TD, he's got eligiblity left and not a threat to go pro. There are other guys there to step up and make plays.
A lot of the guys making plays all over the field are freshman, who will be significantly improved next year. Plus the signing class coming in.

We lose Jennings, Callaway, and Bituli. There's no great senior OL. Our other great LB is To'o To'o, true freshman.

Excuse me. Thought Smith was a senior. Either way, it is very possible that he goes pro considering that he was considered a top tackle and one of the top draft pick possibilities before his illness.
Palmer is decent and likely made better by the fact that he's the third option. Still, the majority of your offense over the past two years runs through Jennings and Calloway. Obviously, losing them is pretty huge, and similar to us losing Snell.
