We are 44% from the 3 since the UNC game

booker getting a lot of deserved love, but ulis is right there too. not just the % but hitting timely shots. that one from the corner was a "game over" shot. aaron didn't force anything and the twins were efficient as well. we looked awesome today with shot selection. booker had one forced shot that i saw. it was quite a performance.

I've been saying for quite sometime that the overall % was going to climb, that we really do have some very good shooters on the team, and that this whole notion the media had begun about UK having outside shooting as a weakness was going to be proven wrong by the end of the season.

I still think we're going to keep the % climbing, it certainly shouldn't be seen as a weakness at this point by anyone. When we hit well from outside, even when we're not playing well, we're not going to lose, that seems apparent to me.

We hit from 3 and play well defensively, we blow people out, that simple.

Ulis and Booker should take the majority of the threes. Andrew and Aaron need a soft shot limit.

If UK continues to hit the outside shots they are going to be really difficult to beat.

Three point percentage is now 35.2%. If that stays there or improves......just scary

Also, free throw shooting now at 69%

Those were our two main weaknesses that could haunt us. Not looking like weaknesses any more.

Aaron Harrison, when on, is a very good shooter. I think with him you have to see how it goes early...if he is hitting early, he usually has a good game.

doesn't matter his numbers for the game either, who else in the clutch is better? all smiles.

That's why I said soft limit. It's obvious when Aaron is on or not. If he is, let him rip, otherwise he doesn't need to be shooting much.

So true. Shot selection is the key. Forced shots are at a minimum, so the percentage rises.

Hope this continues.
