UT down 11 at A&M

Means UK is the 7 seed in the SECT now.
I thought A&M might have a chance in this game, but the way they’re doing it is a bit surprising. They came out shooting out of their minds from 3 despite not being a good shooting team on the year. Be interesting to see if they can sustain that for the second half or if Tennessee makes a game of it yet.
Don't give a crap about ut. Sure saddens me about UK though....

Auburn spanked by Florida and Texas A&M spanking Tennessee. We should won today and we'd be back in the hunt but instead we blew it again. Definitely hurts to realize.
A&M has held UT to 38 pts at the 11minute mark of 2nd half. They has 38 on Cats halfway through the first half.
You are probably have the most level headed viewpoint on here. After today what are your thoughts on where this team goes and their prospects?
Sometimes like tonight Buzz Williams looks like a genius. Other times they under achieve. Hard to figure them out
The team has talent and they all get along great. So personally im baffled by the results I see on the court. We have spurts of amazing play but as the season goes on they are becoming less and less.
The good news is we do have talent and a high ceiling. The bad news is the runway is ending soon and I'm not sure there is time to turn that corner. It's more likely that ship has sailed unfortunately.
I'm also not typically a Cal hater but he has definitely done a poor job this season and especially in several games. I almost wish we had a shallower lineup, I believe we'd have a better record if we had 2-3 less impact players. The rotation would be tighter and roles would be better defined.
The ceiling is probably a 4-6 seed and a final four run. More probably is a 7-8 seed and hoping for a run like 2014. This team reminds me of that team, just a bit deeper.
The optimist in me wants to hold out hope but the reality is our defense isn't good enough to win 6 straight games. I just hope we finish the season strong and atleast right the ship. Would hate to see the wheels completely fall off. We have a good bunch of kids with great attitudes and good heads on their shoulders. Im surprised how soft a few of them are but that comes with this new generation. I'd love to see them perform to their potential the rest of the way.
Tuesday is the season to me, that’s as must win a game as their is. All these players are good people, but the coach constantly puts them in bad positions
We have no inside defensive presence. I mean a mop head surfer boy had his way with us today.
We definitely need to win every game we are supposed to win and steal 1 or 2 we aren't supposed to if we want to salvage the season. I definitely don't blame it all on the coach, as a player you have to be mentally strong and want it more than they do. We've lost so many close games, 2 in OT. Mentally strong players don't lose those type games, they go out and take them. Now getting to that point in the game where it was so close I definitely blame on coaching more often than not. When coaching is subpar and you pair that with bad execution and weak mentality you end up with what you have seen from our team this year.
Games like Kansas, A&M, Florida and Gonzaga a mentally tough team would win more often than not. We somehow lost them all, even UNCW it was a 3 point game 2 minutes to go and we had the ball. Those are 5 games we should win and at worst we should win 3 out of 5. At that point we are either 19-4, 20-3 or 21-2 instead of 16-7. Coaching has sucked but it's not all on the coaching staff. We were up 6 on Kansas at under 4 timeout. We are only a few bounces or executed plays away from being a top 5. That what makes it so sad that we lost every one of those games I listed.
This is my optimistic take. I see them winning tuesday(more hope than actual belief) they win the vandy & Arkansas games , get one of lsu/ miss st, and lose bama, tenn, and auburn. They go 20-11, win one at the sec tourney and end up being anywhere from a 7-11 seed
