Young guy, played at Mizzou. Coached a year at OK and the past 2 at USF. Has some FL and LA connections is what I'm inferring from the info I read.

Hope he can teach these guys to run good routes, read the defense, come back to the ball when the QB is in trouble and catch the freakin' ball!

Like are wide receivers are going to do any better under this coach . With Stoops at the helm you don't need wide receivers or a quarterback . Put a slot in the qb position and run the wildcat every play . God I am so sick of Stoops

You’ve got to find a way to break out of your funk.
Does your old HS have a football team you can throw your support and attendance for awhile?

From USF profile:

NOTABLE:
• Guided USF's first 1,000-yard receiver in a season.
• Coached wide receivers at Oklahoma in 2022
• Played wide receiver for seven NFL teams
• Posted 100 catches for 1,735 yards and 15 touchdowns at Missouri
• Tragically lost both parents before the age of 15 and has worked as a motivational speaker

This should help us tap into the Milwaukee/Minneapolis/Iowa City pipeline.

OMG Robcatt24…where have you been? It’s been difficult filling in for you. With that said, I found some other items from his profile:

• Loves building blocks
• Grew up playing on the block
• Loves New Kids on the Block
• Worked at Blockbuster Video
• Nickname is blockhead (Charley Brown fan)

Looks like he’s a great fit for our blocking WRs!

Man, we’ve tried to throw the ball a lot the last two seasons. We’ve also tried to throw the ball when we were running it down people’s throats which was stupid. I don’t know where people come up with this stuff.

There is no need of posting to try to get information on this board. Martin Luther king and John f Kennedy assassinations would somehow be tied to Stoops marrow or Barnhardt. You could ask how someone's family is and if they were ill it would somehow be linked to Stoops and Jeff Rubys

Yep. There were multiple games the last two seasons where we were effective running the ball but went pass heavy and stalled. Several early season games this year in particular.

This guy would seem to be a decent option. But I don't understand why Stoops never seems to shoot for well established position coaches that are known for being ace recruiters. I thought he should have hired Dameyune Craig last year after the Texas A&M coaching staff was let go. But Stoops passed over him for an "up and comer". I thought that surely Stoops would go after Craig this time, but nope, apparently he's going the up and comer route again, despite Craig being at Georgia State. Surely we could lure the guy aware from there! Dameyune Craig has coached some elite wide receivers over the years and is as good of a recruiter as you'll ever see. The list of 4/5 star recruits he's landed is longer than your leg! But no, we just have to go with someone largely unproven. Several times throughout Stoops' tenure here we've had the opportunity to seriously elevate our coaching staff, but Stoops can always be counted on to take the "ho-hum" option instead.

Very possible he has offered Craig but was told no for obvious reasons and then kept it on the hush hush. I don’t know why anyone would join this staff considering who the head coach is and the turnover we have had.
