I like the fact that UNCHEAT has been placed at the top of the NCAA College Basketball mountain. It will just make it a farther fall for them when the NCAA eventually brings the hammer down.

:joy:Their tears will be delicious...:joy:

There is no hammer coming, sorry as that should be obvious by now. They also deserve the top spot because they have a very good team with experienced players. Kentucky has very talented players that still have a lot to learn so if that happens they will end up by the end of the season the better team.

Don't know if it will be a big hammer but will be interesting to see how ESPN handles the dark cloud floating over Chaper Hill while slurping Ole Roy and his #1 Holes.

North Carolina don't deserve being in the top 25 for 20+ years of cheating. I think if the NCAA don,t drop that hammer on them, all programs in the NCAA should refuse to play them.

Pretty obvious that nothing will happen to UNC. We live in a society that actually rewards cheating and lawlessness. Why should this be any different?

This is how ESPN see's it...

They also rank #1 in most students not going to class, playing ineligible players, throwing anybody that's not down with their agenda under the bus, and thumbing their nose at the whole NCAA, yeah their #1 alright in so many categories :okay:

The hammer will fall. It just takes a heck of a long time. Look how long it's taking just for the comparatively easy UL case to take some form. Even that might take over a year and the number and years of those affected are much less.
UNC will not go unpunished. The question will be how much the basketball team gets slapped compared to the football team.
The longer it gets dragged out the better for us in both cases. Next year both UL and UNC will suffer on the decommitment and new recruiting side.

The hammer will fall on other sports. Basketball will be spared with some minor penalties. JMO.

unc & uofl will try and make a run this season. If it goes south they will admit to a small amount of guilt and self-impose some minor sanctions to make it appear they are cleaning up the program.

I like the fact UNC starts the year as the top ranked team in the country. This early in the season it really doesn't matter who's number 1. Our guys are young and even though these kids know they have the talent, I would rather them not being reminded about how Good they are. I would rather them have something to work hard at to get ranked higher, but then again I'm not sure if starting the year as #2 would be something to work hard at getting better at. When you're # 2, you know your odds are just as good as the team at # 1. I guess it helps relieve a lil pressure so I guess that could be viewed as a good thing.

I was disappointed that the above underlined text was not an actual web link.
