He was sniffling and coughing repeatedly when giving an interview to the press today. I hope he can still give it all in the game Tuesday night.

Not sure if sarcasm...Originally posted by SilentsAreGolden:
This guy may be accident/injury/illness prone. Missed a game already due to illness or slight injury, went out of the UNC game for cramps, got stitches in the UL game, and now sick again. Dude, come on. We need you to stay healthy and injury-free.
I attribute all of that due to the fact that the kid leaves it all out on the court (and I'm sure he does in practice, too). He's a tough guy that's played and taken the lumps up in chicago. Short in stature, HUGE in heart and effort.Originally posted by SilentsAreGolden:

A strong game from Andrew is exactly what the doctor ordered. I'm sure we'll win tomorrow, but I'll be watching Drew closely.Originally posted by JerseyCat84:
I have a feeling Andrew is going to have a big game so Ulis may be able to take it easy tomorrow anyway.
I'm thinking this might be sarcasm, but I'm not sure. He took an elbow to the eye and didn't flinch, and then proceeded to be the mvp of the UL game. I'm sure he'll be fine.Originally posted by SilentsAreGolden:

Hell yes. He is dodging full effort!Originally posted by SilentsAreGolden:

Oh my, yes. How can one not see this whole team is a cesspool of disease?Originally posted by SilentsAreGolden:

Although small animals such as dogs bred to be small seem to be more sickly, I'm not sure there are any studies to apply the same logic to humans.Originally posted by .S&C.:
I think silents hooked a bunch of people on that one lol.
In all seriousness, he's 5'7. Smaller frame and body also mean smaller immune system. He's small, so things that happen to small people will happen to Him.
It's scientific math.
Plus, if he was 6' 3" instead of 5' 7" he would have caught that elbow in the neck and avoided stitches. Why do we have to have these physically challenged players on our team?Originally posted by .S&C.:

Believe the hype.
ummm, the CDC (and anyone in the medical field) will tell that THIS YEAR the flu vaccine will probably not be effective. The strain that was anticipated to be dominant changed and the vaccine will only catch abut 10% of the viruses out there.Originally posted by funKYcat75:

I'm 5'7 and never got sick at his age. Now I was also not running around up and down a court sweating and being bodied up by other college students, but still. I gotta defend my fellow little man.Originally posted by .S&C.:

you still missed an edit. As retarded or idiotic as that may seem...Originally posted by .S&C.:
Yea I think a few missed my ridiculously failed attempt at sarcasm in my "immune system post". It hits some and others...well......
To the one citing the CDC as a reason to be as idiotic as Jenny Mcarthy, if you look on their website under pevention, they are STILL telling everyone the best way is through the flu shot. It's a guessing game as to which virus will replicate in what area, but it's still the best way for attempted PREVENTION.
Not sure the CDC would appreciate a person not affiliated with them making unsubstantiated opinions based without fact, on their behalf.
JMO.
