Cottam leads off 2nd inning with a single, Collette pops out to SS, Cottam gunned down trying to steal on a very close play, Shinn grounds out to SS.
A Rod singles to open the 3rd, Dawson doubles to left, A Rod to 3rd, Squires singles drives in 2. Aklinski fly out to LF, Heyer strikes out on a call by the 1st base umpire ( appeal ), Becker walks, Cottam pops out to 1st. Cats lead 2-0 bottom of 3
I tuned in late. What happened to Pompey? The twitter lineup says he's hitting 1st, but seems like he's not in the game?
Good start to the fourth here. Collett singles to right and Shinn doubles down the left field line. Shinn may play his way into the lineup more if he hits like that.
He is, but I'm not sure if they did a late lineup change or something happened to Pompey early on or what.

Harper struggling a bit here. Got hit hard in back to back at bats with a single and a double before giving up a grounder up the middle to score them. Runner at second with one out.
Good job by Schaenzer. With Thompson out of the weekend rotation and a big weekend series on deck, it's not ideal that Harper could only go 3.1 tonight. Hopefully the bats get going in a big way so that UK doesn't have to use many of their better bullpen arms tonight.
UK goes fairly quietly in the fifth. Cottam got a single up the middle but that's pretty much it.
Brad gives up a strong line drive single up the middle then a stolen base and wild pitch before a single over the head of Rodriguez scores another. 4-3 no outs.
UK catches a huge break with a strikeout and then a batter interference call on the strikeout as the runner at first took off for second and the hitter stayed in front of Cottam as he heads back to the dugout. Two outs on one pitch.

Catamounts using the whole pen. They've got another righty sidearm guy. Dawson gets a hard grounder to third that eats up the 3b and Dawson reaches on an error that moves up ARod.
Grounder to third goes as a fielder's choice because Dawson makes a poor base running decision and gets tagged out. Heyer then lines out to left. Hard line out that was right at the defender.
Ramsey gets a K and then gives up a double off the wall. They have 10 hits against us. Just terrible.
Trying to wrap my mind around this team is 3-27 and they are right there with UK. Unreal.

I know. Catamounts have played 30 games and have only scored 5 or more in 9 of them. They have 5 against us. That's just sad.
