This ain’t no spelling bee! Seriously, though, we were even able to capitalize on cross court passes for 3s. I haven’t noticed that happen all season. Seemed like Reeves took 5/6 shots off cross court skip passes. Mostly coming from CJ.
Someone should tell @Brettbibbins that Wallace has nothing to do with Reeves and CJ getting open looks for threes. They are getting the open looks because opposing defenses believe triple teaming Oscar is more important than guarding our 3-point shooters. If Reeves continue shooting the way he did today and if CJ can match his performance those uncontested looks at 3s will greatly dimmish.

Boogie still my favorite Cal player ever. Say what you want about him being one and done, but he played for the front of the jersey. Always said UK was the first place people accepted him for who he was. It's not just a rumor, he wanted to come back and Cal wouldn't let him. Hell he had a huge UK court built at his house.

They picked UKs 3 point shooting and the Cats shot nearly 35% on their most attempts in 12 years.
Thats not a great % but it was good enough to get UK to the winners circle thanks in part to the Aggies putrid effort from beyond the arch.
Why does Cal take a chance of us getting a bad start the first seven minutes not starting Reeves?
I think thats the next "fix" we will see: being able to put together a complete game. We've gotten the lineups figured out, we've been able to put together a great half here and there, we've been able to come from behind and we've been able to win on the road.
The next thing is to do it for a full 40.
Because who starts in his words is “all about ego” and doesn’t matter.
Can't hardly understand that. Getting the best start possible determines a lot of games.
