I hope that's all it is...but her foot was sideways after she got rolled over by the USC player...I was thinking she broke her leg.Originally posted by AlbanyWildCat:
Initial dx is a dislocate left ankle...that was what was said during the game.
Me too but when they wheeled her off the foot appeared to be aligned properly with her leg in the immobilization device. They had to have reset it on the floor.Originally posted by CatsRWild:

I also had a teammate that did this to his foot and his foot was completely turn around backwards. I would not let him see his foot the whole time we waited for ambulance. It was scary to look at his injury. Same as above it healed great and he overcame it.Originally posted by thecatsareback#8:
Had a friend on my college basketball team do this during practice. Took the ambulance 30 mins to get there while his ankle was at a 90 degree angle. Very gruesome looking injury, but he did recover just fine from it. Prayers go out!
I have no idea if that is in fact what they did, I was speculating in my earlier post. I just don't see how it could have changed position without manipulating it. Because it was not pretty, I feel so bad for that young lady.Originally posted by Dreklie:
I've always been curious, how do they set it on the court? I've only broken my fingers and an arm, but it was never set until I got to the hospital and had some decent meds. Do they give them meds right there on the spot then set it? Always been curious how that works ...
