UK favored by 4.5 against Duke

Hopefully if he comes back tonight he stays until tomorrow.
I have no idea what to expect since both teams are relying on so many unproved players so I wouldn't touch this.
Duke's outside shooting scares me and I'm a little worried if we crowd them too much on the outside, they are going to get easy drives to the lane. Hopefully Skal, Lee and Poythress are ready to clean up with some shot blocks without fouling because I think we're going to see Allen funneled down the lane a lot. If we foul him, he is pretty much automatic at the line.

Mind boggling how Poythress can't do this every game. I know he's still getting over his psychological concerns with the leg, but man he was so impressive this game. If he plays like this, it's a done deal to the final four (the three year old question).
Wow. I'm not a sports bettor because I already have two teenagers who waste enough of my money without betting on the outcome of what mostly teenage boys will do. But if I was I wouldn't touch this game either way. Too many unknowns for both teams at this point.
Could be a classic going down to the buzzer or a 20 pt margin.
I would bet Cal has or will show Alex his highlights from that game. He likes to use stuff like that for motivation.
point spreads = not much just a 1 pt win will suit me fine. Going to be a tough game. But if Skal is on we will win.
It will be interesting to see how the betting goes and how the line moves. I wouldn't be surprised to see it tighten up a bit from 4.5, but that's not far from what I expected. I figured it would be UK -3.5.

Im not sure I understand. When I have discussed Coach K's success with 2 national titles in the past 6 years all anyone on here kept reminding me of is his two early exits to LeHigh and Mercer. So when I see a thread full of posters predicting Duke to beat UK on tuesday night I feel compelled to use the same logic and bring up the fact that K lost to Mercer and LeHigh.

Cal is in year 7. Losing to a school that has zero championships without 1 coach is unacceptable to me as a UK fan.
This is what I was hoping. Wondering what Alex would think/say if he saw that again. Motivational or discouraging? He can do that same stuff again. Just set your mind to it, big guy, and the sky is the limit!
This is a sucker line to get action on Duke. There is probably heavy action on UK already. Every projection site has the two teams nearly even. KenPom predicts Duke to win by 1.
Vegas doesn't care about that. They set the line based on where they think the money will fall. I'll be surprised if it stays at 4.5 by game time as there'll be quite a few gamblers betting the other side.
