Totally agree….don’t want a North Carolina fail out….unless he is willing to take like $250,000 and be the 13th guy in the rotation. He can shoot really well if he regains his confidence.
I feel portal season has so much misdirection in it. Some might be to encourage another player to hurry up, some might be to up the bidding price at another school. I also saw something (I think on ksr) that Pope also uses it to build connections with agents for future recruitment.

Maybe but I would rather go for 2 shooters than one more 13-14 player off bench. Who knows how he was used at UNC or if he just struggled moving up in competition.
