Better than I thought. But right back where we stared.Brutal, we would have been close to top5, certainly no lower than like 7th or 8th.

But....daaaaaaamn. Duke? Wow....the K aura is certainly gone from Durham and Cameron.
Not really, they are 5-3. Think UK would still be in top 25 with the same record. Love how Miami is ranked ahead of us after losing to us by 20+. Pretty comical actually despite the loss to UNCW.Better than I thought. But right back where we stared.

Also BRUTAL week for the SEC, we had 5 teams in the T25 at one point. We have freaking 3 now. And they're all in the bottom half.
We should be T5 right now. Thanks Cal.
That's just how crappy that loss was.Not really, they are 5-3. Think UK would still be in top 25 with the same record. Love how Miami is ranked ahead of us after losing to us by 20+. Pretty comical actually despite the loss to UNCW.
I thought so too. I thought they would drop into mid 20’s.Generous
We kinda are. That was a really bad loss. Tbh, I thought we'd be around 21-22 this morning. What's even more sad is we don't have anybody who thinks that's a bad ranking.
Seriously, we're LUCKY to be at 16????????
What the literal EFF has happened to our program?
EAD, COWPERRY!
IMO... it's this attitude that contibutes to our demise (and apparently Dukes now as well). It means nothing to have the best recruiting class anymore. It only mattered when kids stuck around.Really need them to keep slipping up more than anyone. Would certainly help with recruiting if they're in disarray.
This also makes me feel a little better about the match up with them next year. I won't close the book on Scheyer just yet, but it's clear he is not anywhere near the same level as Coach K. If Coach K had a guy like Flagg, there'd be little chance we could win that game. But now, the door is open. And I also wouldn't be shocked if some of their players opt to leave early, transfer or maybe even decommit.

I take that back... it does mean something... it means that we are going to get a lot of Ls, especially early. It means we'll lose the all-times wins lead, again. Our legacy will become getting kids to the NBA.
There has to be a mix... 5*s, projects, and transfers... and they all have to have an equal shot to see the floor... not just the kids that are projected in the draft first round.
Beating a top 10 team and then losing to a mid major, both at home, is a wash. Like said above, back to step 1. Plenty of opportunities to pick up good wins, just please avoid the bad losses.
Damn we had a good chance of moving into the top 10 if we had just beat UNCWCollege basketball rankings: Arizona No. 1 in updated Coaches Poll; Purdue slips to No. 4

Yeah, 10-12 spots below Miami after beating them by 20+ is sensible. We kinda are. That was a really bad loss. Tbh, I thought we'd be around 21-22 this morning.
Well, Duke lost on the road and dropped 17. You can't lose to subpar opponents at home.Yeah, 10-12 spots below Miami after beating them by 20+ is sensible.
Yeah, it had zero to do with us not being able to hit the broad side of a barn. He can’t make the shots for them. We lost because we shot like crap and had a crazy amount of turnovers compared to previous games.Should be in the top 10 but of course we make uncw look like a FF team at rupp, he just can’t help himself & get out of the way.
