If he can stay healthy what type of impact will he have for Kentucky this season. I can see him being a defensive force for the cats
He wasn’t a defensive force last year, won’t be this year either.
No telling, he was already raw and needed all the practice he can get. Now he could be way behind, not to mention not 100%.If he can stay healthy what type of impact will he have for Kentucky this season. I can see him being a defensive force for the cats
Won't regress, because he won't play.Hopefully his speed will improve but most players regress under Cals coaching
I see him bringing 5 fouls a gameIf he can stay healthy what type of impact will he have for Kentucky this season. I can see him being a defensive force for the cats
Richards was a Jr before he became a good center for us. Richards also played 543 minutes his freshmen campaign compared to Ugo’s 109. Some here blindly think UGO is just going to magically become a force when he didn’t show much at all last year, albeit in limited action. I hope he does but I see a poor man’s shagari Alleyne more than I do a developing Nick richards.Nick Richards developed nicely, so can he.
I think one reason his time diminished is due to the fact he'd pick up three fouls in three minutes.Ugo's blocked shots per minutes played was at one time the best in the country last year? That was early in the year and then his minutes diminished as the season went on. It will interesting to see what he can do with normal minutes.
That’s not trueHopefully his speed will improve but most players regress under Cals coaching
Actually, Onyenso did show us things last year.Richards was a Jr before he became a good center for us. Richards also played 543 minutes his freshmen campaign compared to Ugo’s 109. Not true. He actually only 8 fouls the entire (110 minute) season he played. So his diminished time was purely that Cal (like always) narrowed down his rotation in SEC play.I think one reason his time diminished is due to the fact he'd pick up three fouls in three minutes.
Funny thing is, I remember during that time that Ugo was playing that well Cal bragged on him and pointed out those stats he was putting up.Not true. Never said you specifically said he would be a force, can you quote where I did? I merely said many on this board have and think he is going to have a breakout year. I personally don’t think he will, but also stated I hope I’m wrong. Just don’t see the potential in him that some have expressed. Not sure where I said he was going to be a force. Can you show me where I said that? Also, you have zero idea how he'll pan out so we got that going for us, which is nice.
Agree with you. He is really a freshman that is far behind. He played next to nothing last year and now is hurt. He will get some rebounds and block a few shots due to his size alone.Never said you specifically said he would be a force, can you quote where I did? Great headline! Ugonna Rebound tooIf he can stay healthy what type of impact will he have for Kentucky this season. I can see him being a defensive force for the cats
I guess that's why Cason Wallace is tearing up the NBA right now.Hopefully his speed will improve but most players regress under Cals coaching
How are you coming up with that opinion because its not a fact. Mitchell had 9 rebounds, Thiero 5 in the FIRST exhibition game. Mitchell is a very good all around player. I love Thiero but he's not as good as Mitchell. He has an Oscar like rebounding knack.
Meaning he rebounds out of his area.
That’s gotta be a help on a team that looks to need rebounding.
Bradshaw seems to want to play away from the basket. Mitchell is not a good rebounder
Theiro is a good rebounder.
