Anyone know if Monday's game is on tv in Louisville? UKAthletics says UK Sports network and watch ESPN but I can't find it on my tv listing.

Crap! Per KSR, it's Internet only. So we get LESS coverage now that the SEC network takes over. These are the games the local broadcast would pick up in the past. And don't give me that crap about more people can see it online. They could do both. What the hell is the point of the SEC alt channels?

In the past, 9 or 10 games before the new year would be on wkyt and wymt. The sec network has screwed the common local UK fan.

Pretty BS that the season opener, exhibition or not, isn't on tv!

I guess I'll take the ten seconds it takes to hook an HDMI cable to my computer and watch it on tv. I can see how it would be an insurmountable problem though, especially for the people that post here without the internet, or a computer.

Gosh, why didn't I think of that? Let's see, my desktop in in the basement and my 55" hdtv is upstairs in the family room. Now where did I put that extra 40' hdmi cable?:eyes: Will 40' even be enough?:scream:

Bottom line is, why isn't it on the SEC atl channel? Why do they have them if they're not going to use them?

The ESPN app on Roku has the SEC Plus channel. You can get the stick for about 30-40$.

Didn't we have an issue last year of a game not being on tv and internet only? If I recall correctly, didn't we raise a big enough guys with espn that they actually picked up the game on tv. Maybe it was the games in the Bahamas or an exhibition game? Maybe if enough of us call and ream out the sec network they'll put it on tv. There is absolutely no reason it can't be on tv, there's 2 alternate channels for the sec network.....no excuse. We have 5 days to make it happen. I'll be making my 1st call tomorrow morning. Internet games are for teams like uofl, we're a top 3 team. Make your voice heard

Do the idiots at ESPN not realize the only reason most of us even keep tv is live sports. If they keep pushing things to Internet only why should I keep paying for their channel. I get watch ESPN through my isp so if they prefer to lose my monthly fee for tv I can oblige them.

They should have it in one of the sec channels right?

If they put the freaking blue/white game on there. Then they can put a real opponent on there.

The exhibition is on Monday night, right? What other SEC Network programming could it possibly be up against?

The SEC soccer Tournament is being aired on the regular SEC Network channel. Most likely, UK will be on one of the alternate channels. The problem is, not nearly as many providers have it available.

There is no other programming on the network for Monday night, except the soccer tournament. That obviously only shows 1 game at a time.

1 888-549-3776 just put in my call. Hit zero and ask to file a complaint with the tv department. Guy I spoke to said it makes no sense from an advertising and viewers standpoint to have it online than on tv....less eyes will view online. He said he remembers the same situation last year and that our voices brought about the change to have it moved to tv last year. He said it will take more than just me and a few others, but he said if they receive enough negative feed back that they would probably move it to one of the alternate channels which have nothing programmed. So if you'd rather watch it on a computer with a choppy feed than on your big screen then by all means do so....if not get off your ass and take 5 minutes tips to make a call and change this! Pass this info to fellow fans who don't post on message boards the more complaints the more pressure on espn to ditch the science project

the guy I spoke with said they have no plans to show it on either alternate channel despite nothing else being scheduled for those 2 channels, said they would not change it unless they receive enough negative feed back like they did last year from our fan base. That's straight from the horse's mouth

I think the plus is the internet feed, if I recall correctly. I can't imagine after one or two calls that they've already caved and put it on tv. I'm going to check my guide when I get home to see if it's updated to a scheduled showing of the game

Yeah I think plus is the Internet on WatchESPN.

I have a Roku streaming stick. You can buy one for about $50 at Walmart or pretty much anywhere that sells electronics. It's HDMI (plugs directly into an HDMI input) and you can get any ESPN online programming for free, if you have a decent internet speed. That's how I plan to watch Ottawa game, and all those that ESPN will show online. This way, you don't have to sit and watch it on your computer or a tablet or something.
