This time in the form of taking down the 7-1 Atlanta Hawks on the road.

Wiggy with 33 points while Karl scored 17, grabbed 13 rebounds, and blocked 3 shots. What's funny is that KG and Tayshaun are playing major minutes for the T'Wolves. They have to be loving this.

T'Wolves are now 4-2.

Here's the box:

Muhammad? Muhammad? A bench warmer? (I looked at their bench and that stood out. I thought he was of the basketball savior type?

The TWolves now have a real core. KAT is going to be an all-star, sooner rather than later, and he plays both ends of the court. Wiggins should be an all-star- all he needs is to tighten up his jumper (and the 15-22 he put up last night would seem to indicate that's happening). Rubio has major flaws, but there's no question that he's a brilliant passer. And Bjelica, the 27 year old Euro League All-Star they signed, looks like a legit NBA starter. This could be a 50 win team by next year.

Prince must just be taking up space. Not much of a stat line for 24 minutes of play. Are wiggins and KAT keeping the ball out of the old guys hands?

Yes and no. He doesn't do much to hurt the team. Part of the reason why the Wolves had the #2 ranked bench in the NBA right now.

The thing that can't be overlooked is that KAT and Wiggins could be wired in a way that actually makes them stay with the TWolves. Most stars look to the bright lights in the first sign of free agency, but Wiggins seems to want to avoid the spotlight and KAT is so mature and professional that he might stick around, especially if the team is good.

I was kind of hoping they would add another lottery pick this year but looks like they're going to be too good to do that.

Karl with yet another double-double last night.

19 points
13 rebounds
3 blocks

The young man turns 20 in four days. He's going to be one of the best in the league down the road.

The combination of Wiggins and KAT is going to be lethal down the road... I mean look what they are doing already and KAT is only 7 games into his career.

UK has Davis, Cuz, Towns and Noel in the league. Those are four pretty damn good bigs. Impressive.

Funny how Cal was originally known only as the guy who got all the best point guards.

I'm going to stand up for Tayshaun here; he didn't produce much on the stat line, and in the 1st half, when he and Garnett were on the floor, they were 2 guys who looked like they couldn't get open to get a shot. But those same 2 guys were very effective on the defensive end. Tayshaun stuck to Korver like glue, and his length bothered Korver who shoots 3s like layups.

So Tay and KG are definitely playing to their strengths and the box score won't show it.

Wiggins had one good game, he'll be supporting cast unless he changes his mental aspect of the game. (something he probably didn't want to challenge himself and picked Kansas.)

They'll need another star next to Towns.
