Tonight's score against Georgetown

Little slower out of the gate. Cats slowly coast in second half working on Off sets (don't laugh, lol), 68-51. I don't know who, but taking a Fresh as top scorer. I think Reeves will just chill in this one and let the new guys run.

Georgetown can shoot the basketball. And (in the recent past) play up-tempo. If we score 68, we probably lose.

My Crystal Ball says:
93-74

68? This ain't SEC play. At home against a team we should beat by 20. We will score at least 80 at minimum.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they could only score 68. Just that I think Cal will be working on things most of the second half and we'll see scoring drop off. But, maybe he just let's them go.

If we win this game under 20 then I’ll have to temper my expectations.

I know the question is about the score. But, I hope it isn't played with that concept. Right now Cal better figure out what he is going to do in post play. Tell me who is going to defend and rebound on the interior against Kansas, what combinations are going to work when we play physical teams, which players work best together for different schemes and opponents. This is not a team that should be focused on a 6 or 7 player main line-up. This is a team that should use its depth to an advantage.

I would much prefer to see some experimentation versus running up a score against an opponent that we can do things against that a better team we won't be able to.
