Here is the stats for our team by position. No names, we all know who plays where.
PG. 12.3 points. 7.7 assist 3.7 rebounds 2.1 steals.
SG. 21.5 points. 3.1 assist 3.7 rebounds. 2.1 steals
C. 16.7 points. 12.8 rebounds. 3.5 blocks. 2.2 assist
F. 12.3 points. 10.1 rebounds. 2.1 blocks. 1.7 steals
F. 10.8 points. 7.7 rebounds. 1.8 assist. 1.4 blocks
Some one please tell me why we're still complaining. If these numbers were being put up by just five individuals we would be praising them as loud as we could. But our fans are still criticizing and complaining. Who cares if a player or two has a sub par game it gives some one else the opportunity to step up. As a team we are the best and are in the process of making history so sit back and enjoy it.
If these were individual players instead of two sharing time we would have: the leading scorer and fifth best scorer in the conference, the number 1, 4 and 8th best rebounders, the top assist man, 4th, 5th and 9th with steals and the top two and 10th best shot blockers.
Because our players are not putting up stat numbers to be ranked very high within the conference due to sharing their playing time, it is time for our fan base to give them credit for sacrificing their individual minutes and game on behalf of the team instead of nit picking them to no end over every meaningless thing.
