I agree with your thoughts but we still should not have lost to this team and it may cost us in seeding placement come March. Effect of this loss remains to be seen but it wasn't a good one and we looked bad tonight. I was in Rupp and never had the feeling we were going to pull it out.

the fan base has to stop accepting these bad losses early in the year based on the idea they are meaningless. The only thing that is meaningless is the rationalization done to arrive at these statements

These losses handicap the team in March.
The day that Cal is held accountable for them is the start of when we see fewer of them.

Well NOBODY expects that with Cal at this juncture,but I guess we are wrong to expect UK to win a home game against freaking UNC Wilmington
I suppose you’re talking about my thread earlier. Don’t put words in my mouth. I didn’t say that. We should not need DJ to beat a mid major. But when the chips are down he sure could have helped. The team isn’t strong enough yet to survive any roster losses.
This team had people excited, hell I still enjoy this squad. But they were never unbeatable. They are also not garbage and the season is not lost like so many of you doomers have been saying all night.
Losing to a mid major is inexcusable, but not insurmountable. If my lack of intense negativity labels me as a sunshine pumper then go ahead. I don’t care and kiss my ass

It's really pretty simple. They love Cal and his antics more than they love the University of Kentucky basketball program and their success on the floor.
