Both very productive and D-J tested way better than average physically IIRC. Kind of surprised they were passed over.
The knock on JDJ at UGA was he struggled in the open field and coverage, elite against the run. But I think every team needs a player like him, not an every down player but there is a place for him
I think djack gets drafted without that injury. I don't think he even got to perform on pro day.
He continued that struggle at UK. Anytime he had to cover, it was not good. He was in position just too slow although he ran s good 40.
Its a shame because 15 years ago hes maybe a first round pick.
I was thinking Eli Cox would get a late round call, especially given his ability to play three positions. Both very productive and D-J tested way better than average physically IIRC. Kind of surprised they were passed over.
May be a quickenss or agility vs speed issue. IDKYep you are correct, he is an elite old school MLB, but struggles in coverage. Like you said his speed isn't bad so it is hard to understand why he struggles in coverage as bad as he does.
If Eli Cox makes a team I will eat a piece of cardboard. He has been terrible the past two seasons.I was thinking Eli Cox would get a late round call, especially given his ability to play three positions.
He was ranked as a top 20 center, so maybe almost everyone sucked? If Eli Cox makes a team I will eat a piece of cardboard. He has been terrible the past two seasons.
