I can't help but root for them.
It’s past due for us to get an electric QB, like really past due.Except for the electric QB play and passing game. SEC Mike always said other than UK every other SEC school lucks into a really good QB about every 10 years. So far hes been right
Their QB has been really good for them (leads the team in rushing) but I wouldn't go so far as to call their passing game electric. Under 200 passing yards/game and about 350 total yards per game, UK is ~40y/g less in each category. Overall our defense has been better. But they've capitalized in some big moments and played/coached smart football, and UK can't say the same.Except for the electric QB play and passing game. Good observation…they run the ball and shorten the game for sure. Pressure on each possessionI can't help but root for them.
Seems like Oregon has one every year.Except for the electric QB play and passing game. SEC Mike always said other than UK every other SEC school lucks into a really good QB about every 10 years. So far hes been right
Different Tim Beck, maybe you're thinking of the former NC ST OC Tim Beck who is now HC at Coastal Carolina and is from Youngstown.Irony is they win the way we used to win. Clock control, shorten the game, have a culture of toughness.
The other irony is they hired tim beck as their oc who is really good at succeeding with a talent deficiency AND is about the only coach from Youngstown not on the staff. Instead we got bush.

We used to be that way, Couch, Lorenzen, Woodson, would even put pre-injury Hartline in that mix. The closest we got since has been Will Levis. I think Drew Barker could have been great had he not had a career ending injury.Except for the electric QB play and passing game.
